The Ellwood City Elementary Wolverine Football
Technique Camp concludes:

A three-day football camp for local elementary boys took place last week at
Helling Stadium’s practice field. The event covered Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday afternoons with ninety-four boys participating in the camp. The camp
was open to all boys in grades 1-6.
For the participants, activities ranged from stretching, warm-ups, and
drills to Ultimate Football play and a punt-pass-kick competition.
Participants received footballs at registration and received t-shirts on the
final day of the camp.
Ellwood City Varsity Head Coach Frank Colao initiated the camp. Coach Colao
received the assistance of several other coaches, parents, and Ellwood City
Varsity Football players. Ellwood City Senior, Tim Lon, assisted in
coaching and organizing the camp for his senior project.
