Grandparents go back to kindergarten
May 27, 2009

Over 200 people participated in the Riverside kindergarten’s annual Grandparent Day event earlier this month. Grandparents were invited to meet their youngster’s teacher, visit the classroom and participate in some planned activities with their grandchildren.

They also had the opportunity to have their photos taken with their grandchild, make a picture frame craft project, play games, blow bubbles and enjoy refreshments and see the Riverside Early Child Education process in action.

One grandparent traveled from Germany to accompany his 6-year-old granddaughter who ably served as his language interpreter.
