Volunteers get free Disney admission Friday, February 5, 2010 9:05 AM - As you may or may not know, a free trip to a Disney Theme Park is not out of reach – if you lend a hand that is. The Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County is participating in the “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day,” which gives participants a free day at a Disney park for simply volunteering to community service. Through a partnership with HandsOn Network, Pittsburgh Cares, volunteers are eligible to receive a one-day, one theme park ticket to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. The HandsOn Network is a national association of action centers based in cities across the country that connects volunteers with projects and programs in their community.
