EllwoodCity.org
will be holding its 1st Golf Scramble and Dinner at
Del-Mar Golf Course on Saturday, July 19, 2008. The
scramble will have a shotgun start at 8:00am and the outing includes
an 18-hole round of golf with cart and lunch at the turn. There
will also be a dinner buffet with hot dogs and hamburgers and cold
drinks after the round of golf along with raffle ticket drawings for
those participating. Make-up date for the event is the following
Saturday, July 26, 2008. THE DEADLINE FOR
REGISTRATION IS JULY 14, 2008.
The four-person
scramble is open for registration of the first 28 team entries.
The fee is $65.00 per golfer and each team registering must have
a minimum handicap of 40 for their respective team. The reason for
the minimum handicap is to cap the level of competition and make the
field of teams and overall tournament more competitive and enjoyable

Outing Fee:
The four-person
scramble is open for registration of the first 28 team entries.
Payments will be made after registering team of golfers. The fee
per golfer is as following:
$65.00 for a non-member
$50.00 for a Del-Mar member
$35.00 for a Del-Mar member with his
or her own golf cart
Each team
registering must have no more than two players with handicaps
under 10. Each respective team is required to have a minimum
handicap of 40. A team must use at least one drive from each
participant. The men will be teeing off from the white tee's and the
ladies from the red tees.

First Flight
Prize: (open to all participating teams)
$650.00 – First Place
$350.00 – Second Place
$250.00 – Third Place
$100.00 – “Hackers Helper” Prize
Second Flight
Prize: (open to team with 60+ handicap)
$250.00 – First Place
$150.00 – Second Place
$100.00 – Third Place
The
above prize amounts will be adjusted to suit a lesser amount of team
entered in the outing.
“Hackers
Helper” Prize will be awarded to the team with the second
worst final score.

Harley Davidson, on EACH of the
courses four Par-3 holes
LONGEST DRIVE on the 470-yard, Par 5 14th hole wins
A NEW PUTTER from the Del-Mar Pro Shop
LONGEST PUTT on the Par 4
8th hole wins A NEW DRIVER from the Del-Mar Pro
Shop.
DRIVE THE GREEN ON SEVENTEEN
wins $100 cash. Winner
must have tee shot land and hold the green on Del-Mars 262 yard, Par
4, 17th hole. Closest tee shot to the pin on the 17th hole green
wins the cash prize.
(Course
representative will be at or near each prize hole to verify any
winning golf strokes.)

Raffle Prize:
In addition to
the golf outing and dinner buffet, there will be a NEW SET OF
NIKE IRONS raffled off at the main shelter at Del-Mar golf
course after the outing concludes. Additional “door prizes,”
including shirts, hats and gloves, will be raffled off as well.
Raffle tickets may be purchased during morning registration for
$5.00/ticket.

Mulligans:
Mulligans will
also be available for purchase during morning registration.
EllwoodCity.org golf outing is allowing each team to purchase up to
2 team mulligans for use in their round of golf -- 1 team Mulligan per nine
holes per team. Mulligan(s) may be purchased for $3.00

On-line
Pre-Registration:
EllwoodCity.org will only accept payments after an on-line
registration form is submitted.
Please fill-in all the information on the on-line registration form
found on EllwoodCity.org. A completed form must have four
players and player handicaps or else will not be acknowledged as a submitted team.
Player Number 1 for the registering team should be the same
name that will be repeated in the team captain field. All the
personal information about the team captain is for EllwoodCity.org’s
use only to remain in contact with the team. Make sure to provide a
working e-mail account in the email field. This is how you will
receive your team’s verification that we received you registration
and a team verification number. Team captains are required to
have the verification number and present it at the sign-in the
morning of the golf outing.

Pre-Registration
Payment Methods:
Once Ellwoodcity.org receives the team’s on-line registration,
Ellwoodcity.org will send out a verification response email
informing the team captain how to make his team’s payment to
finalize the registration. EllwoodCity.org will accept cash payments
in person, checks by mail or in person, and credit card payments.

Golf Outing Day
Sign-In:
To complete
registration, each team will need to be present at Del-Mar Golf
Course by 7:30am, Saturday July 19, 2008 to sign in. Team member
with email verification number will need to sign team in at sign-in
table near 1st hole tee box. Upon signing in, the team
will gain their golf cart and be sent to respective hole for shotgun
start. First 100 players signing in will receive EllwoodCity.org
Golf Outing and Dinner golf towel.
