TOUR OF LANDING SHIP TANK 325
A World War II-era warship the LST 325 will be navigating up the Ohio River for the first time in 60 years on Tuesday, August 31. it will dock near Heinz Field on Pittsburgh's North Shore from Thursday, September 2, 2010 to Monday September 6, 2010. Tours will be offered as part of the USS LST Ship Memorial Amphibian Reunion taking place in Pittsburgh over Labor Day weekend. PITTSBURGH'S NORTH SHORE NEAR HEINZ FIELD

"MES PETITS CHOUX" (French lessons for preschoolers)
Mr. Bob Galvin, a retired French teacher, will feature songs, games new words and more. All area preschoolers are invited to participate.Registration is under way and REQUIRED for this program. The sessions will be held at 10:00 a.m. every Tuesday morning for six weeks.

LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER
The American Cancer Society will offer the "Look Good Feel Better" program from 6:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Holy Redeemer Center at 603 Bridge Street. This program shows female cancer patients how to use makeup and skincare techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemo by volunteer cosmetologists. FRONT ENTRANCE OF MUNICIPAL BUILDING ON LAWRENCE AVENUE

The annual musical program hosted by the Ellwood City volunteers of the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 7:00pm at Christ Presbyterian Church, corner of 4th Street and Spring Avenue. A variety of musical performances will be presented by local talented musicians who volunteer their time and talent for the program. Refreshments will follow. Donations accepted.

ANNUAL HOLY REDEEMER SCHOOL GOLF OUTING
To accommodate more participants, the organizers have decided to move this event from the traditonal spring event to fall. Tee time will be 9:00 a.m. Three man scramble. Total team handicap 25 or more (1 player per team with 6 handicap or under) Holy Redeemer invites businesses and organizations to support Catholic education by becoming a Tee Sign sponsor. Although we are seeking donations of at least $50.00, any donation would be greatly appreciated. Money from all Tee Sign sponsors will go directly to Holy Redeemer School.
